It has been made in the traditional way for all these years from pasteurized cow’s milk in Mayenne, department of Pays de la Loire, France. Its rind is white and flowery. It has a smooth and supple ivory paste with a nice smoothness in the mouth. It comes in a beautiful wooden box directly inspired by the 1900s. FLAVORS: It has aromas of fresh mushrooms, fresh herbs and milk. Its taste is delicate marked by a beautiful aromatic richness. HOW TO TASTE IT: On a tray or after a meal, melted with honey and homemade jam, this Camembert can be eaten at any time of the day. To be enjoyed with a white wine such as a Sauvignon or a pilsner beer.
