Sancerre is named after the French wine district of the same name. The Weinviertel Sancerre is known for some of the best white wines in the world – just like Pillivuyt is known for its beautiful white porcelain series Sancerre.
Pillivuyt has been producing handmade porcelain of the highest quality for 200 years. The passion comes from the small town of Mehun-sur-Yvre, 250 km south of Paris, where the craft is passed down from generation to generation. Today, Pillivuyt is one of the oldest and most recognized porcelain producers in the world.
